PUR Water Filters are much different than traditional ones. When I first was in my new house, the water tasted pathetic. I mean who wants a horrible Chlorine aftertaste in their mouth? These water filters are very easy to install. They come with adapters that fit most all faucets. If your faucet is not covered, you can contact PUR and get the correct fitting shipped to your house. Installation takes only a few minutes and no tools or muscles required.

They offer a quick bypass filter. You can tilt the filter to make it parallel to the ground and normal unfiltered water will flow out. This is ideal for washing dishes and watering plants.

These filters last quite a while. They are rated for 100 gallons, or 2-4 months. However, if your water is really hard then it may not meet these guidelines. Nonetheless, these water filter systems come with an indicator that lets you know when to replace the filter. This gauge is standard for all of the PUR Water Filters.

Personally, I believe that the PUR stage 3 filters are amazing. My kids love the flavor that these flavor packets produce. We even make flavored ice cubes with them and add to traditional drinks for an extra burst of lemon or raspberry.
